A rich, seductive, and absolutely lustful interpretation of Oud: I wanted to offer a warm and comforting experience, but with the dirty, animal intensity of Oud. It’s a fragrance that once again expresses my obsession with human intimacy and the experience of it: the infinite sweetness of bodily closeness, the search for the animal aspect in humans. A quest for the very essence of humanity, starting from Sex and the Sea and Under My Skin, through The Lover’s Tale and Unspoken Musk.
It’s a fragrance that, in its extract formulation, shows all its complexity and sweetness, sensuality, and lust, like a magical realm of abundance. It’s the wonderful feeling of opulence and fullness of a round Oud, uniting its woody side with animalic and leathery aspects, whose sometimes very sharp character is softened by the sweetness of caramel.
The other typical aspect of this beautiful material, which recalls cheese, is amplified but in a gourmand sense, highlighted by creamy, buttery, and fruity (plum) notes.
The same sense of richness, abundance, and extreme sweetness found in very sweet and exuberant Middle Eastern sweets.
